Happy Earth Day!

I felt it was fitting to make this official announcement today; it is Earth Day after all. I am excited to announce that I am partnering with NRG Home Solar this year. As a friend of the environment, I am a passionate recycler and choose to blow off CO2 versus emitting CO when transporting myself from place to place, so I am thrilled to be joining the team at NRG Home Solar. This relationship came about from meeting Joe Yurcisin, VP of Sales, at my local bike shop, Sourland Cycles. Joe is an avid cyclist himself, and has ridden in the Challenged Athlete Foundation Million Dollar Challenge.

The world of home solar is rapidly growing and evolving, and I am looking forward to learning more about how solar energy can change the way we power our homes and living spaces. I am sure it will be a fun ride on the “solar coaster,” as it is referred to by those in the industry. NRG in involved with some awesome projects across the country including putting solar panels on buildings at Arizona State University, the MGM Resort in Las Vegas, and on  Levi’s Stadium, the home of the San Francisco 49ers.

With global warming and sustainability at the forefront of our local, national, and international concerns, using renewable energy sources should be a priority for everybody. NRG Home Solar is currently powering homes in New Jersey, California, Texas, Minnesota, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maryland.
